"The Berlin PU Congress was a great event!
There were easily 150 guys there, and given the whole thing only cost 70 Euro including the catering, it was essentially a free value festival. I later found out that the event went down because there were some very generous secret sponsors involved (mad respect to you guys)!
I did my presentation, showing some totally new footage from the upcoming Infield Insider product, where I used simultaneous Microloops to grab a girl and hold her for 5 minutes straight while I gamed her!
To my surprise, I got a lot of, 'That would never work in Germany' from the crowd, with continuations of 'the girls here are different, more sophisticated, not like American 'giggle' girls.'
I said, 'fair enough.'
And given I had not sarged there, I went out that night to see what would happen!
In my head... I had a hunch that the cultural differences were minor, and my game would work just as well in Germany as everywhere else.
Also, I saw a lot of guys sporting egos thinking that somehow 'American'
game would need major adjustments in Germany, and that Germany needed its own game.
But to me, all that was just a story in their heads about why they couldn't do super kinesthetic game, rationalized by 'only American girls respond like that.'
So here's what happened:
I opened every set with the 'Hellloooo' amorce and one of the girls (usually the one that spoke the most English) would say 'Hey' right back, and then I would use the following mini stack I came up with just for Germany...
Me: 'You are the best English speaker I've met ... in the last 30 seconds.'
Girls: 'Ummm ....' slightly offended
Me: 'No, no .. no ... we LOVE each other.' (high-five mutual contact physique)
Girls: 'ok'
Me: 'How is your English?' (credit Stripped)
Girls: point at the best English speaker in the set
Me: I immediately isolate with the English speaking girl, and it's on like crazy
Note: I didn't even have to do any PureKino. Ironically, I just went into immediate comfort stories with embedded DHVs, because the girls were soo receptive to game that anything more would be over gaming. On the isolation, I got immediate proximity contact physique (sitting next to each other with our legs and asses touching) and hugging and what not.
Basically, it was ON and it was easier than gaming in the states!
The culture over in the club we were at was a bit more conservative than what we see here in the US, and the non-community guys were all game free chodes, so girls were super super receptive to big happy simultaneous Microloop escalations. It felt like women don't get approached much or gamed much at all (the local guys confirmed it) in Germany, so when you bust in with massive emotional value giving they get nuts.
I ended up pulling a 3 set to the all-male conference VIP club room and gamed her for a while - after that me and Poodle passed her (and her 2
friends) around the VIP room until they found some local guys with good game and, I believe, my girls left with them.
I'm going to write a lot more about the Germany trip in the next blog, once I am back in San Diego (I'm escaping the fire for a few days, can't
breathe!)
But for now, my advice to German guys is to ...
1. Do way more contact physique. It will give you a massive edge because nobody contacts physiques over there, even if the set is mad into them. For example, I didn't see a single club make-out anywhere in the whole club, even with couple sets.
Also, I saw a bunch of students hook super hard on girls that wanted to get escalated badly, but they didn't escalate.
2. If you are an English speaker in Germany, use the technique above. I didn't even bother to false time constrain most of the time. It was like fishing with grenades.
One last thing... It's not that there are no regional differences in Germany vs. America.
One difference is that you can do pretty kinesthetic game, but the escalation has to be somewhat slower. I'll get into some more in the upcoming post-fire blog.
But, when guys are saying that stuff doesn't work when they haven't tried it... at all ... is plainly an ego-based defense that only slows guys down from learning what they can really get away with.
